Toolbar

Click radio button to select tool.
    Zoom In - zoom map in and recenter where clicked.
    Zoom Out - zoom map out and recenter where clicked.
    Pan - recenter map where clicked.
    Identify - select benchmark and return information.
    Full Extent - zoom map to full city.
    Help - opens this page.


Layers

Checkboxes toggle layers on/off.
The only layer than is identifiable is "Benchmarks".
Some layers are scale dependent (visible only at a certain scale).

Information (Identify)

Three fields are returned: Number, Elevation, and Description.
Number is an arbitrary unique number assign by the city.
Elevation is the elevation of the benchmark.
Description is a description of the location.


Miscellaneous

House Numbers - Parcels are labeled with the house number, ArcIMS determines when and where to place labels so if some labels are not visible zoom in more or pan the map.

Layer List - Apply button may not be needed with newer browser, clicking checkboxes should automatically change map.

Approximate Scale - The scale shown is a calculated value and is not the true scale of the map.
